Toni’s frustration
Ask any entrepreneur about their first company website, and the story usually sounds familiar. At first, the company site was pieced together late at night, or a friend with tech skills lent a hand.
Once there was finally a budget to outsource, the business often turned to a traditional marketing agency.
I had seen this story countless times with friends and strangers. But while working a corporate job, I witnessed a case that topped them all.
Our company decided to get a new website. The agency promised a lot, and the project cost €9,000.
The site was slow, layouts were off, the mobile menu was broken, and technical SEO hadn’t even been considered. Because of my technical background, I ended up having to fix these basic things immediately after launch.
That project summed up everything that was wrong in the web design world. Expensive agencies sold heavy, overcomplicated solutions with little understanding of business needs. On the other extreme, hobbyists offered cheap websites with the only advantage being a low price.
The hardest part was watching small business owners wrestle with DIY website builders. They poured hundreds of hours into slow, unreliable sites instead of focusing on their business.
The more entrepreneurs I spoke with, the clearer it became: poor websites were costing businesses time, money, and growth.
The insight
For me, a good website is fast, easy to use, and makes it simple for visitors to buy or take action. Just take a look at Google’s PageSpeed Insight report from Ocillo.com:

My vision was confirmed by the Sijoituskohteet.fi project. By focusing on speed, SEO, and user experience, the site took off. In just one year, monthly visitors grew from 1,000 to 40,000.
This proved what I had suspected all along: this is how modern websites should work.
A common problem
When talking to other entrepreneurs, I kept hearing the same story. No matter the size of the business, website projects were stressful, expensive, and rarely delivered the results they should.
Most small and medium-sized businesses faced the same challenge. They needed websites that could generate leads and sales but could not or did not want to spend a large sum upfront. Expensive agencies or cheap freelancers could not provide the right solution.
If a company finally gathered the budget for a new website, the result was almost always disappointing.
The start of Ocillo
I decided to take action. What if high-quality websites could be accessible to everyone without a huge upfront investment, with a solution that grows with the business?
I founded Ocillo with a simple promise: only pay for the value you get. No complicated packages, no hidden fees, just fully functional websites delivered as a complete service.
Today, we build everything from single-page landing sites to custom e-commerce stores. We never compromise on speed or performance. We focus on what matters most: websites that both visitors and search engines love.
